Fire Horse for water damage & restoration
Nobody shops around at 1am with a burst supply line. The first company that answers, explains what happens next and says they're on the way gets a five-figure job. We make sure that's you.

ECHA HVAC in Sacramento started at thirteen reviews. We asked their past customers as well as their new ones, answered everything that came in, and the count did the rest. Different trade, same engine - and in restoration the reviews do double duty, because the agents and plumbers who refer you read them before they say your name.
Where restoration work leaks
The 1am call that went to voicemail
Your tickets are big enough that one missed call is a bad month. And these calls come in at the hours when the person on call is asleep with the phone face-down.
The rebuild nobody followed up
You dried it out, then quoted the repairs. Half those quotes go quiet while the homeowner waits on their adjuster, and a general contractor picks up the reconstruction you'd already earned.
The referral you never asked twice for
Plumbers, agents and property managers send the work that isn't a 1am scramble. Most restoration companies contact them once, at the start, and then never again.
Research on lead response is consistent about the shape of this: answering first matters more than answering best. See the sourced figures on the homepage.
Your numbers, not averages
Use your average mitigation job, before any reconstruction. This is the arithmetic that makes restoration owners uncomfortable.
What we install in a restoration company
Found
Your listing says 24/7, names the certifications, and has the reviews.
Answered
A human-sounding answer at 1am, every time. Whole jobs are won here.
Dispatched
Address, water source, affected rooms and insurer captured before the truck moves.
Asked
A family you helped in a crisis writes the review that wins the next one.
Chased
The rebuild quote and the referral partners both get asked again.
Miss one gate and the rest doesn't matter. Everything below sits on one of these five.
01 · Answering
The first ninety seconds of a loss call decide whether you get the job. It tells them how to stop the water, collects what your crew chief needs to load the truck, and never says the words that create an insurance problem for you.
· Answered around the clock, missed calls texted back in seconds
· Shut-off guidance and safety steps first, scheduling second
· Water source, affected rooms, standing water and category captured
· Insurer and claim number collected if they have one
· No promises about coverage, ever - it books the inspection instead
Sits alongside the software you already run the job in, and hands off to your on-call phone the moment a job is confirmed.

02 · The rebuild you already earned
Reconstruction quotes stall for reasons that have nothing to do with you - an adjuster taking three weeks, a homeowner who can't think about cabinets yet. Then they go cold, and the job goes to whoever called last.
We follow up by text in your name on a schedule you set, so the conversation is still alive when the claim finally settles.
Referral partners, contacted on a clock
Plumbers, agents and property managers get a check-in and a monthly note, so you're the name they say when their client is standing in water.
Every past loss, asked once
Homeowners you helped through the worst week of their year are your best reviewers, and most of them were never asked.
03 · Reviews
Nobody researches restoration companies in advance. They read four reviews on a phone while standing in an inch of water, and then they call. That is the whole selection process, and it runs on your count and your last five reviews.
· Asked at the end of the job, when the house is dry and the panic is over
· Every review answered, usually within the hour
· Certifications, 24/7 hours and equipment photos kept live on your listing
Review count and rating are the part of local ranking that responds to effort. The other two levers are your address and your categories - see the homepage.

Restoration questions
Will it say something about insurance that creates a problem?
No. Coverage language is fixed and written with you: it collects the insurer and claim number, says the adjuster decides coverage, and never estimates what will be paid. That script doesn't improvise.
Will it quote a mitigation price?
Not a number, because you can't price a loss you haven't seen. It explains how billing works - insurance-billed, deductible, or a paid inspection - and gets the crew on site.
Can it wake me for the real ones only?
That's the point. Active water, a commercial property, or multiple units rings your on-call phone with a summary. A dry-out follow-up question waits until morning.
Most of our work comes from plumbers and agents.
Then that list gets its own track: a monthly touch, a thank-you when they refer, and a note when you've finished the job they sent. Referral relationships die from silence, not from competition.
Is there a contract?
No. Month to month. Cancel any time and service runs through the month you've already paid for.
We'll record a short video showing where the work is leaking - your listing against the franchises next to it, how an after-hours call gets handled, the rebuild quotes still open - and send it over. No call required.
